HUGE announcement!!! I have officially started my youtube beauty channel. This is another place for you and I to talk about makeup, hair, and everything else beauty. #FOTD Love wins

Hey beauties!
This is my look from yesterday in celebration of an amazing win for the Unites States, and for us as humans. I say with pride in our country that gay marriage is officially legal in all 50 states. This is so monumental and from here I hope we can work towards a point where it's no longer gay marriage, it's just marriage. I was inspired to show some support in one of my favorite creative outlets, makeup.

Beneath Your Beautiful. A zipper SFX step by step tutorial #GOREgeous
Hello Beauties!
I'm really excited to share todays look with you all! Let's start with a little back story. I like to call this look "Beneath Your Beautiful". Inspired by the Labrinth song. I love the physical interpretation of stripping the mask of makeup off to see the inner beauty. errr sorta..... I decided to go for an intense glamorous pink for the eye look, to exaggerate the beauty that we are taking away. It's what's inside that really counts right? So let's jump in!

Spring Makeup Make OVER!
Why hello there lovelies!
As a california girl, the heat has hit us here FAST, and in order to stay cool and cute in that heat i'm doing a spring makeup make over! We're going to be talking about what i'll be restocking my makeup bag with to stay looking so fresh and so clean clean (Outkast anyone?) and some other suggestions of what might work for you!
Foundations!

Now we have to start this with foundation because who cares if those brows are on fleek if your face looks as if it is melting off!
I have got a liquid foundation, powder foundation, and a BB cream option for you guys. Let me know which YOU prefer when the heat hits in the comments down below!
EYES!
These are some of my favorites that cover all the bases of fun, quality, cute, and long lasting. That's all a girl really needs right?
Lip colors!
Lip colors are one of the products I get most excited about changing up for different seasons. So for spring i'm hiding away those dark purple, red, and berry shades and busting some super flattering light pink, orange, and nude!
Bronzer!
Now this one is mostly in here because I have major #palegirlproblems. No matter how long i'm in the sun I CAN NOT get a tan, so with these I can get that summer glow I envy so much!
I'm also a huge contour addict, so i'm showing you guys both bronzing and contouring products.

January Favorites!
*Casually ignores the fact that I never blog*
Hey guys! In honor of the first month of 2015 I thought I would tell you guys about my favorite products from the start of this lovely new year. I want ya'll to tell me what YOU have been loving this month in the comments below!
and anything else I can get my hands on.
This is a rediscovery of an old favorite. I got a mini as I believe a 100 point perk from Sephora, and I am in love....Seriously. At this time it's feeling like the greatest mascara to ever grace my lashes, but I kinda always feel that way about current favorite mascaras. So rediscover guys! Try those things in the back of your drawer, and find some hidden gems.

And last but not least, a new look! This month I died my hair a muuuch darker brown and I am so happy with it. I've always gone lighter with my hair, so I was definitely in need of some change. Let me know what you guys think!

Nars Sheer Glow foundation
I recently took the HUGE step of changing my every day foundation. Yes this is a very big deal to me. I had been using the Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation for probably 2 years, which in makeup is forever, of course. Now I still have a passionate love for that foundation, but I was feeling like trading it in temporarily for a more full coverage winter foundation. I have dry skin so the "glow" in this foundation makes my skin look super healthy but it does not have any sparkle/glitter in it (why do companies ever do that to foundations, ew). So yay for glow without discoballface.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
Not much I even have to say about this, ya'll know what's up. I'm loving the pink - plum colors, because they go super well with the thing i'm going to talk about next which isssss....
Dark lips
This is a little more general, but I have been obsessed with dark lips. I love just putting on some light eyeshadow, winged liner and some inteeense lips. Some of the colors I have been wearing are
Buxom- Menace
Rimmel - Bordeaux
OCC - Black Dahlia
Hourglass - Icon
Hourglass - Icon
J Cat wonder lip paint - Red Potion
and anything else I can get my hands on.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder
Everyone has been loving these, and before I tried them, I really did not believe they did anything (other than cost too much). I have been converted. I have the color Etherial light because I am mega pale and it looks the best on my skin tone. It is the most natural no glitter glowing highlight around. Your skin looks healthy, glowing, and imperfections just seem to be blurred. 10/10 worth the price.
Tarte Lights Camera Lashes

Bright Eyes
New thing for the blog: Artist of the month!
This month's artist is Bright Eyes. Nothing new of course, but I've been loving the band this month like crazy. I'm strange and absolutely love sad sounding music, and it doesn't get much sadder sounding than Bright Eyes. If you haven't heard the song Lua, you must.

Would You Rather - Beauty Edition! (TAG)
Hello, lovelies!
Today I thought we would do something a little different and answer some beauty tag questions!
Someone in the comments suggested the 'This or that: Beauty Edition' so that is what i'm going to do.
Leave your answers to these questions in the comments below!
1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
Oh my Kanye West, they are starting it off with a hard one. I would usually say eyeshadows over most because you can use them in so many ways but....Mascara. I can't live without Mascara so i'm going to have to say let go of the eyeshadows:(
2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Never be able to cut it again for sure. I would just make sure it stays incredible healthy so it looks intentional.
3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
I'm definitely a pink cheek person. Looks way better on my skin tone.
4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
YOU COULD GET SO MUCH MAKEUP WITH $1000. I tend to buy clothes a piece at a time just as life goes on, and I kind of like that. But with makeup I want it all and I want it now.
5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Eyeliner for sure. We'll just bring back the 90's!
6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Though I love both; Sephora. Much more variety. Who can live off just one brand?
7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
Probably one lipcolor. I go through fazes where I really stick to a certain lip color, but my eyeshadow is different every day.
8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Winter clothes in summer, because I am ALWAYS COLD. Literally already do this...hahaha.
9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
I'm going to go with bright. Can't live without my neon pinks!
10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
Going to say lip again. Eyes are more fun to me.
11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Oh ponytail for sure. For some reason messy buns are so cute on everyone else, but make me look like a hobo.
12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Take the lipgloss! I need nailpolish. I'm already not a huuuge lipgloss person, definitely gravitate towards mattes.
13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Oh lawdy. This is awful, why would you do this to me? I guess i'll go with sharpie. Get a fine tipped one and dye your hair jet black to match. Or can I get a brown sharpie? Is this cheating?
14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Alas, I must choose nail polish. Makeup is too much fun.
