February Favorites 2014!

           

Hello lovely people! It has been ages since I did a favorites post. I've been experimenting with makeup and new products a ton this month, so I can not wait to share my favorites with you!

Let's start with skincare today! I have recently really been loving the Aveeno Clear Complexion foaming cleanser. I have sensitive, acne prone skin. This cleanser makes my skin feel so clean and most importantly helps clear it up.

Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation.

This product is completely new to me this month. I picked it on an Ulta trip after hearing so much hype about it. I have to say it holds up to the hype! I use this with a damp beauty blender for the most flawless finish, and in blends seamlessly. It is definitely a full coverage so if you're looking for something lighter, this may not be for you. It does not feel heavy on the skin, and is significantly lighter feeling than the original Colorstay foundation.
I simply can not get enough of it.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind ConcealerAnother highly hyped product in the beauty community that I am a little late to the party on is this concealer.


I use this predominately under my eyes, let it sit for just a moment to thicken the consistency and then blend it out. Dark circles vanish!

Sigma Performance Eyes KitThis is a set of 8 small precise eye brushes. The range is fantastic for a small kit and the actual size of the brushes is fantastic for detailed application.
I love sigma brushes and these stay on the fantastic quality they're known for. One of my favorites in the set is the E47. This is perfect for putting really dark color in the crease so you have a lot of control, and nothing gets out of hand.

                                                      Too Faced A Few of My Favorite Things Palette.
THIS PALETTE!! Eek.
Now I hate to mention products you won't be able to get since this was limited edition for the holidays but I couldn't help myself.
This is the most obsessed I have been with an eyeshadow palette in quite sometime. I am a bit of an eyeshadow addict so I rarely find myself focusing in on one specific palette, but I have yet to put this one away this month. I find everything I need in one place, from shimmery lid colors, mat crease, pops of color, to blush and bronzer!
The palette contains 20 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, and 2 bronzers.
Including the classic Chocolate Soleil bronzer, which is one of my favorite matte contour shades.
The textures are fabulous, the color range is beautiful, and the packaging is absolutely adorable. Must have for me!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
The above mentioned palette actually came with a mini size of this mascara and I completely fell in love with it. After just one coat lashes look long and full, after two they literally look fake. It's almost too good to be true. Can not recommend this enough!

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye LinerI may or may not have mentioned this in a favorites post before but it is completely worth mentioning again. This is by far my favorite liquid liner I have tried. It has a very fine point for thin lines, or precise wings, it's completely jet black, and once it is on it isn't going anywhere! They really mean "stay all day"!

Hair favorites!

GHD classic 1 inch styler
My first hair favorite this month is my new flat iron. I posted a full review on this last week which you can see here, so I won't be going into too much detail right now.
All I can say is it's fabulous and has made a read difference in my hair!

Not Your Mothers Clean Freak Dry ShampooFor the health of my hair, I only wash it every other day. SO on that second day to combat the oils I have been loving this dry shampoo. It absorbs any excess oil without making my hair look dry, and leaves absolutely no white cast. Just spray the roots and kind of rough your hair up to work it in, and you're done!

Fashion favorites!

I picked up this top from forever 21 this month and I am so in love. It's a light blush pink with the saying "Dear Rap, I love you" which is literally my life. I haven't taken a picture of myself in it so this is just from the f21 website.

A big month for forever 21 with me. I also picked up this adorable fitted cardigan. It's been quite cold and rainy here (for california that is) so i've loved layering this over dressed with thick tights to warm up an outfit.
